Yep! That’s the name! Blah Blah…
My friend, Cathy Ebert (just about the cutest little lady you could find–with a wicked sense of humor….). Anyway, there I was, Super Bowl Sunday, surfing the food tables, looking for something new and interesting….there it was! This non assuming looking dip in a little crockpot. WOW! What flavor! I asked Laurie what it was, and she said it was an old dip recipe from Cathy, with only THREE ingredients! That’s perfect for my flock, I thought. You always seem to give me feedback on the easy stuff. So, here it is:
1 tube Jimmy Dean lo fat sausage (I think Laurie used Turkey)
1 8 oz. lite cream cheese (Oh, go for it–I did Full Fat!)
1 can Rotel tomatoes with green chilies
cook sausage in a skillet till almost done. No need to drain cause there’s no fat. Add cream cheese and tomatoes. Stir well and put into a little crockpot. (If you don’t have one, just put it in a glass bowl and occasionally hit it with the microwave and stir.)
