JOSEPHINA’S (PRONOUNCED HOSA-FEENA’S–SO YOU WILL SOUND SMART!)
Sometimes the very simplest things are the best. At our Paint and Sip party (we call it Paint and Guzzle for obvious reasons), everyone brings a dish to share. I get so many wonderful recipes this way, and Debbie brought these delectable little French bread slices, covered in a flavorful cheesy topping. Easy to make and even easier to eat!
1 loaf French Bread, sliced horizonally
Mix together: 1 4 oz. can green chilies, 1 cup soft butter, 1 cup mayo, 1 minced garlic clove and 8 oz. shredded Monterey Jack Cheese.
Spread mixture on both sides of bread. Broil till cheese melts and top is light brown. Delicioso!! (optional: garnish with a few chopped green onions)

ok during the party I was forced to watch the Cardinals football game. I must admit my painting ability is lacking, must have missed 3rd grade art classes.
