Alma’s Salsa…..omigosh! I’ve never blogged it! What was I thinking?

My sweet Hispanic friend, Alma, gave me this simple salsa years ago.  Yesterday I was cruising through this blog and couldn’t find it.  Even though it is on my all time favorites list.  You just do it in 5 minutes in a blender.

5 simple ingredients.  (Unless you don’t live in Arizona). cause those little cellophane packages of Mexican spices are everywhere here!

Good stuff!

Alma’s Salsa

1 can tomatoes (Alma insisted on S&W, but you can’t find them anymore)

2 Tbs. Menudo seasoning.  I looked at the ingredients on this and it is basically oregano, dried onion, dry chilies and citric acid.

2 tsp. crushed garlic (or 2 large cloves)

5 little skinny dry red chilies (more if you like it hot)

1 tsp. salt

Blend in blender until smooth.
