I make bread literally all year. I have some “Go To” rolls that I always make and I don’t even need a recipe, I’ve been making them for so long. But on Thanksgiving I go all out and make Parkerhouse. They are a little more difficult and have a couple more ingredients (egg, more butter). But oh the dough is just like velvet and they rise so beautifully! Worth it once a year!

THIS IS THE WAY A RECIPE SHOULD LOOK!!!
In 1979 I edited and contributed to a cookbook at Church of the Redeemer. They reprinted it in 1996 (a good thing because my old one was all like this!) So this is going to be a very simple post. Try these. Enjoy them. And have a wonderful Holiday Season!
